10" Adjustable Set Square Adjustable Triangle

The Acrylic Adjustable Set Square features a 45°/90° adjustable triangle plus those of a protractor. Angles from 0° to 90° can be drawn from the baseline with ½° accuracy and graduations are stamped to improve durability. Angles are secured by the thumb screw when the desired angel has been acquired for drawing.

How to use:

SCALES:
Direct reading in half degrees.
Direct reading Secant and Tangent.

HOW TO USE TRIGONOMETRIC SCALES

Examples: Assume the triangle with a 25° angle.
Direct reading Tangent Scale for 25° = 46.
Presume a base of 500mm – therefore the height will be .43x500=230mm.
Direct Reading Secant scale for 25° = 1.10.
Therefore the secant will be 1.10x500=550mm
